This is the slightly healthier alternative to the white sourdough bread. Leavened using wild yeast and with 25% whole wheat flour. It's sugar free and has a slight pleasant tang from the sourdough starter and a thick, crunchy crust. Has a bit more earthy flavor than the white version and generally toasts darker.
Great to use as base for an open sandwich or just plain like that with salted butter or dipped in olive oil. This is the best bread to use for toasted cheese sandwiches.

Our Sourdough bread comes from our friends over at Last Crumb Bakery and is exclusively available through Baggies or direct from Last Crumb at their store:
CT HUB, 114 Lavender Street, #01-30
Storage Requirements: Baked on the day it's delivered, it will last in your fridge in an airtight container for a maximum of 2 weeks. The bread is so nice that we don't think you'll take that long to finish every last crumb, but to be safe it's recommended to store below 4 degrees Celsius.
Alternatively you can slice and freeze the bread below -15 degrees Celsius, in which case it can be stored for a maximum of 3 months. If you prefer to keep your bread in a bread bin on the counter, please consume within 3 days.
