This salami has a distinct flavor that is dry and not too salty, with hints of pepper and a creamy, spicy finish . We prepare and cure our Toscano at our Joo Chiat store in Singapore. Curing takes around 30 days, when the perfect maturity is reached.
Toscano is cured, so comes ready to eat as is, and is the perfect addition to your charcuterie board.
Toscano comes from the beatiful lands of Tuscany, Italy, and is believed have a lineage tracing back to recipes from the 1700s. It is generally made from lean pork and/or beef, studded with fats, for a superb texture and robust flavour. Toscano salami is a staple of the Mediterranean diet in Italy, France, and Spain.
