Baggie's Droewors is a traditional South African cured meat sausage produced right here in Singapore.

We use Halal Beef Steak mixed with special Droewors spices, comprising coriander, cloves, pepper and salt.

Droewors is a cured, ready to eat meat stick sausage. Due to their thin size and dryness they are very easy to pick up and snack on. Baggie's Droewors has a really tasty aromatic flavour. It is the perfect healthy snack and packed full of protein (est. 45-50%).

We make our Droewors in our Singapore butchery and deli shop where we hang it to dry for a number of days in our custom built meat curing chamber until it reaches the optimum level of dryness and flavour. Our shop is located in Singapore's East Coast, on the popular Joo Chiat Road. Feel free to drop by and see how it is all done.

Quality is different now

When I first bought online, before the rave, it was super good cos u can ask them to thinly cut the meat and u can taste the spiciness and fragrance of dried cured meat.
Yesterday I walk into the shop, quite crowded and I bite into a pc where it’s still mostly raw and it felt like biting into a pc of leather. (It feels disgusting to me) I did googled and it says it was safe to eat? Not sure cos I really couldn’t bite through it. Spiciness was not spicy. All the spicy flavour I bought not much taste at all. Taste was just way off from the first time I got it. Hopefully can QC abit? Sad I won’t be buying for awhile until the hype dies down. It was so busy that I felt if I “tried” a pc， everybody behind will kill me 😂

We enjoyed the drywors which was dried and spiced perfectly, the chilli biltong was amazing!

Lean and mean droëwors

Really enjoyed this dry, lean droëwors. Would prefer no MSG for health reasons.
