From a hidden vineyard in the Swartberg. Axe Hill Gatos Chenin Blanc is barrel fermented crushed into tank & pressed after 18 hours skin contact. After settling the juice is free-run into old 300lt French oak barrels for AF and matures over 10 months in barrel on lees. No fining or filtering. Toasty, leesy notes & ripe yellow fruit on the nose. Rich, mouth filling, spicy juice on the palate. The ultimate companion to butter seared salmon with a creamy garlic mash.
