A Red wine produced in the Bordeaux region in France, by Chateau du Couvent. This classic, savoury Pomerol makes a wonderful partner for beef dishes, such as a classic Wellington, or pair it with festive turkey or roast duck. There are delicious aromas of fruit: blackcurrant, cherry, cedar, then blackberry and spices form a complex and expressive bouquet. The palate is powerful, with strong tannins, supple fruit and very good potential for ageing.
