The event was well organised and a lot of fun. Excellent wine to taste and the meat and biltong complimented the tastings.

Would want to see more events like this, I will attend again.

Baggie's Droewors

Do fridges come with revolving doors do these even exist? Such is the frequency of my purchases from Baggies and the apparent appetite within my household that this thought came to mind, and with that the size of my fridge. Like everybody else my fridge is built-in hence space is finite. But my excuse is the fridge predates Baggies so don’t blame me. The regular purchases are testimony to the quality, tenderness of the steaks and the flavour of Baggies famed Boereworse. As a Dutch I can identify very well with ‘Africaans’ afterall it were the Dutch pioneers unsettled in the Netherlands seeking greener pastures in beautiful S.Africa near the end of the 17th century. Some of us Dutch have historically itched to explore far away frontiers. I can vouch for that.

Stew is flavourful and meat chunks significantly outnumber vegetables. I wish the stew was a bit thicker but I totally respect the style. Suggestion to airfry for 20 mins, with the first 10 mins covered by aluminium foil.

Highly recommend the kids loved them
